Community Therapy vs Private Therapy
At AINT Foundation CIC, we offer two pathways to access support: community therapy and private therapy. Both are grounded in the AINT Model and delivered with the same commitment to dignity, emotional safety, and non‑judgment. The difference lies in how each pathway is structured, funded, and delivered.
Community Therapy
Community therapy is designed to make emotional support more accessible. These sessions are delivered in groups or structured programmes, allowing us to support more people at once and reduce the overall cost.
Community Therapy is:
• Affordable and accessible
• Delivered in groups or set programmes
• Structured around shared learning and connection
• Suitable for adults, young people, and families depending on the programme
Because places are limited and programmes run on a set schedule, a £10 fee is charged for any missed session. This helps keep the service sustainable and ensures spaces are used fairly.
Community therapy is ideal for people who want supportive, structured sessions at a lower cost.
Private Therapy
Private Therapy offers a more personalised, flexible approach. Sessions are one‑to‑one (or for couples/families) and tailored specifically to your needs, pace, and goals.
Private Therapy includes support for:
• Trauma and PTSD
• Abuse recovery
• Anxiety and overwhelm
• Self‑esteem and identity
• Grief and loss
• Children and young people
• Couples therapy
• Group therapy (private groups)
• SOS sessions for immediate emotional support
Private therapy prices differ depending on the type of session, practitioner availability, and whether the session is for an individual, couple, young person, or group.
Private therapy is ideal for people who want personalised support, flexible scheduling, and a deeper therapeutic focus.
